About

Shannon Tully, white woman with blond curly hair and wire rim glasses, smiling outside in nature.

Hello! My name is Shannon Tully, and I am a counsellor living on Bowen Island, BC, Canada. I have a masters in speech language pathology and have worked as a speech language pathologist for 16 years. I also have a masters in counselling psychology from City University, and have worked in mental health and substance use. I am currently the lead therapist at a psychedelic psychotherapy clinic in Vancouver, where I provide ketamine-assisted psychotherapy alongside a medical team.

In addition to my professional experience, I have personal experience working with psychedelics, having used them for my own personal growth and emotional healing. I co-facilitate a monthly psychedelic integration group, and was involved with a MAPS study using MDMA to treat PTSD. In addition to my work as a counsellor, I have worked in the public school system, where I supported children and families with speech and language difficulties as well as challenges related to neurodiversity.

I am a mother of twins, and have overcome my own struggles with an eating disorder and depression. I have learned strategies to manage my ADD and anxiety and have learned to live a full and meaningful life as a neurodivergent person. I am passionate about helping others grow in their self awareness and ability to find their way through life’s challenges.
